I was searching through different files on my computer and came across this post I had written about going from unknown to well-known online. I didn’t publish it then, but I am publishing it now especially since I have used the very tactics I outlined here and found success with them. Here are the four ways:
-
Conduct a social media audit
– This first thing you do is conduct an audit, to do this well, follow these steps
- Find all your Social Media Profiles and document them, ensure you know
- Why you’re using this profile
- Why you want to use it
- Your primary goals for using it
- Whether your Target market is using it
- Check the details of all profiles and fine-tune them, ensure consistency across all platforms with the message being sent and images
- Compare the performances of your profiles today vs. one or two years ago to see whether goals are being met
- Find some key industry influencers and find out how they manage their Social Media
- Observe their branding
- Observe the type of engagement
- Observe the number of followers
- Kind of content posted on their profile
-
